Cardiff Gluten-Free Festival began from a simple belief: Wales needed a dedicated event celebrating the coeliac and gluten free community.
When a survey drew 550+ responses in just two weeks, alongside interest from 40+ vendors, it was clear there was real appetite for something like this.
As someone diagnosed with coeliac disease in 2005, I wanted to create more than a food event - a welcoming space built around safe food, discovery and community, with families and children at it's heart.
Once I saw the response, I couldn’t leave the idea alone.
